Professionally, I am a consultant based out of Chicago, IL focused on the Microsoft technology stack. I primarily work on Active Directory and Exchange projects with the occasional OCS or Identity Lifecycle Manager/Forefront Identity Manager project thrown in. By day I work for a consulting firm in Chicago working on projects with customers around the world. I recently wrote an Active Directory book. I also frequently present at industry events, write articles for trade publications, and work on custom content projects.
Over the past several years, I’ve had the opportunity to design, implement, and manage Active Directory, Exchange, and Identity Lifecycle Manager solutions for customers across the public sector, K-12 and higher education, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals verticals ranging up to 500,000 seats in size. I’ve also worked on desktop deployment projects, MOM and SCOM deployments, and a number of software initiatives mainly involving .NET. I’ve spent the past couple of years working on and learning a great deal about outsourcing projects and low cost global delivery centers.
